AENEAS Showcases Groundbreaking Battery Research at TRA Conference

AENEAS is proud to announce its participation in the prestigious Transport Research Arena (TRA) conference, where innovation meets mobility. Representing the project, Remi De Coster from Flanders Make presented pioneering research comparing traditional batteries with next-generation solid-state batteries (SSBs) in his paper (published together with some colleagues) titled "Assessing Electrochemical Energy Storage Technologies for Waterborne Transport Applications."

This important study, backed by the Maritime Battery Forum—a key stakeholder in the AENEAS project—explores advanced energy storage solutions to support the shift towards more sustainable waterborne transport.
