AENEAS Featured at Navalia Exhibition 2024

In May 2024, the AENEAS project was prominently featured during SOERMAR’s participation in the Navalia Exhibition, one of the leading international trade fairs for the maritime industry. AENEAS was showcased alongside other Horizon Europe initiatives—SEABAT, HYPOBATT, and FLEXSHIP—all of which are united in their mission to drive the decarbonization of maritime transport.

These collaborative research projects are pioneering the implementation of innovative energy storage systems and hypercharging technologies in ports, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support the transition to sustainable marine mobility.

The AENEAS consortium would like to thank the organizers of the Navalia Exhibition and especially Cayetano Hoyos Matías of SOERMAR for his key role in presenting the project and highlighting the importance of sustainable innovation in the maritime sector
